I was asked to do a cake to celebrate the end of the season for a ladies’ golfing league. This cake fit the bill…It is a 4-layer 8″ round cake decorated with vanilla-bean buttercream and a fondant golf bag, balls, clubs, and flowers. The top was frosted smooth with green buttercream and a grass tip was used to pipe darker-green grass. The ombre design was made using a large star tip and 4 colors of pink from dark to light. A fun cake to design and make!
